To kick this off, I'll tell the story of driving my Evora GT (see pic) earlier in April 2026 as I left Wal Mart to come home.
My Story
Most every time I drive my Evora, it elicits a response from someone. I often see cameras on the side, in my rear view mirror and even videoing me driving down the highway. This response from a young boy, clearly a budding gearhead was particularly notable.

I had just left Wal Mart and pulled onto the road, getting in the left lane to get in the queue to turn left about a half mile away. I stopped a traffic light. A BMW sedan (aka saloon) pulls alongside in the right lane with a teenage boy driving and likely a parent in the passenger seat. I'm thinking this kid is driving with a learner's permit when I hear him yell. I look right and he is half out of the driver's window. His head is all the way out, hands and elbows at the base of the window frame grinning ear to ear. "What's that thing got in it, a V-10?" he asks. His face was lit up with excitement.

I reply, "You'd never guess, it's a supercharged Toyota V-6." I get a puzzled look. I flip the exhaust switch to sport mode and blip the throttle. Puzzled look instantly becomes a "wow that's cool" look. The light turns green. I accelerated briskly, he was likely delayed by the time to get his head back in the car and after getting through the intersection changed lanes to get behind me. Likely to see what the car was and maybe to turn left as well.
